The 12th Provincial Student Leadership Conference
St. Patrick's High School in Quebec City, from the Central Quebec School Board is proud to be the host of the 2009 Quebec Student Leadership Conference. This conference is an open invitation to all students in secondary two, three, four and five within the province of Quebec.

The conference will take place from Friday, November 13th to Sunday, November 15th 2009.

Registration Details
Online registration opens on April 1st and closes on June 26th, 2009. 
This year, the cost of registration is 225$ per student.  This includes all meals, a banquet, a full program, a registration package and 2 nights
at the Loews- Le Concorde Hotel in quad. occupancy rooms.
The cost for Advisor registration is 275$ for double rooms or 375$ for single rooms. A large block of rooms has been set aside for the conference but the June 26th deadline for registration and payment is crucial to the organization.
Advisors do not book their hotel rooms.  The organizers of the conference will do this when the registration fees are paid.
The conference hosts are allowing 20 students from each school to register in groups of 4 to allow for easy room distribution and to avoid having to share a room with other students they do not know.

Program Highlights
It’s time to ‘STEP UP” and for that reason the organizing committee has centered the theme on environmental issues. Many interesting speakers will be presenting topics that relate to our changing world and to youth leadership issues: Her Excellency, the Governor General Michaelle Jean, Jean Lemire (Mission Antarctica), Dean Bergeron (Olympic Athlete) as well as Justin Roy & Marco D’Arienzo (Climate Crisis). The youth of today WILL be the change of tomorrow- they will make the difference in our environment. Youth must develop the skills that are necessary to LEAD in the future and to succeed in an ever-changing economy. We hope that this conference will provide for them, to STEP UP, because IT’S TIME!
